Speaker notes were getting silently dropped during PPTX-to-Markdown conversion. For anyone using converted decks as documentation or feeding them into AI summarization workflows, losing the notes meant losing the context that actually explains what each slide is about. Now they are preserved.
Where the notes end up
Each slide's speaker notes appear in a blockquote below the slide content, prefixed with a 'Speaker Notes' label. This keeps them visually distinct from the main slide text while making them searchable. If a slide has no notes, nothing extra is added, so clean decks stay clean.
